At last minute I decided to switch loan companies to purchase a home purely because of reading the reviews on Capital Home Loan's website. It was the best decision when it came to buying my first home. Colin and Samantha were so great to work with from start to finish. They were always available no matter whether it was work week day or weekend day! If I had any questions, they were always available, patient, and thorough in answering them. Kevin Robinson was great to work with and answered all of our questions along the way. He is very knowledgeable and quick to respond at any hour and day. He was able to process our preapproval quickly over a weekend. He laid out all of our options so we could make the best choice for us. However, his assistant Stephanie did not share the same quality of service. She was unclear on what information she needed us to provide and repeatedly asked several times for documents that had already been provided. She was still asking for documents that had already been sent three times. Only once Kevin got involved were they able to find them.

To whom it may concern-
We were able to get into a house that we would consider to be our “dream home” recently. We started the process by going with 2 national lenders and one other local lender. The three would not find a way to make it happen for us to buy this home. One started by talking to us but after seeing they would have to do some work, they had another associate call me to let me know it wasn’t going to work out. Relatively same situation from other two. My family and I were totally Devastated. My Real Estate Joe had me try this company Capital Home Loan. I thought worth a try but there is no way they will make it work since 3 others couldn’t. Courtney and Kevin worked with me making sure we had all updated information. They put together a plan with the underwriter and within a small amount of time I get a call from Courtney expecting her to let me know maybe next time but this wasn’t the case. She congratulated me on my approval and shorty after we signed all paperwork. I could not believe what they did. Also there percent was lower than the others! This is my third home purchase and when I get great service I like to share. Also wouldn’t mind sharing the other 3 companies but I will be professional but I will never give them my business. I will always recommend Capital. I also want to add they had great communication with me calling me right away when they needed something and always answering my calls. Even on a Saturday!! Overall the experience was positive. The team was generally well organized and did what they said they were going to do. There were one or two instances in which I had to remind them of a particular circumstance or limitation. However, when I had to communicate with them it was easy and well-received. I have recently worked with Capital Home Loans on the purchase of my home and a subsequent refinancing, as well. My Mortgage Broker, Kevin Robinson, helped me find the best product and rate to fit my needs. He was always responsive to my questions and between him and my Transaction Coordinator, Courtney Cleveland, I always knew what to expect and where I was in the process. I first worked with Kevin on a home purchase a few years ago, which went similarly well. When I found myself in a position to upgrade my family's living arrangements, I immediately reached out to Kevin to get a loan pre-approval letter and start the initial purchase process. When I found the home I wanted, he was able to get my loan structured the way I had requested and funded much faster than the sellers' side of things was resolved. We were able to close very quickly and my family had the home of our dreams. If you're looking for a mortgage, I highly recommend Capital Home Loans, and Kevin Robinson in particular. Colin was great to work with! He kept us informed the entire process, which was longer for him, since we were building a home. We always knew when he was submitting paperwork, when the status changed, etc. Colin got us an amazing rate, and we closed on time. Colin always puts his clients first, and I cannot recommend him enough!

We have now worked with Kevin twice in the past. This last time refinancing with Capital Home Loans was simple and quick. Anytime there was a question or doubt the team was responsive to answer. In total it took 12 days to be approved to close. I'd highly recommend using them for their high level of service and efficiency.

Kevin, Courtney, and Scott were amazing throughout our home buying process. Even with all the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, they were very responsive and always available to answer questions. Evenings and weekends included, they were quick to get in touch with us about updates and the status of our loan. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home!
